Rockies 4-Day Tour

( at dinner time )
Mr. Joseph (my homestay father): how about your trip, Kevin?

Me: The scenery is magnificent! Lake Louise might be the most beautiful landscapes I’ve ever seen! (Having known that my homestay family would ask me about Rockies, I could say only two sentences, though…> <)

Mr. Joseph: did you see any animals?

Me: no~

Mr. Joseph: Maybe animals don’t like Taiwanese’s beard (smile~)

Mrs. Joseph: Kevin, say “fuck you, Joseph!” (smile~)

Me: no ~~

Mrs. Joseph: come on!! I buy you a beer!

Me: no, no^^ I will buy you a beer~~

Again

ike the movie “17 Again”, we always want to go back to the past time. Perhaps the happiest time, the most glorious time or the purest time we have before. However, if the opportunity knocks, will we seize it? Will we abandon all the things we have right now?
Maybe all of us don’t want to go back in thepast. Like the end of the movie, the only one thing we want to do is to correct the mistakes we’ve mad. After all, we are not us before.

Ps. Wow! An serious article! I must get old^^

Compare Vancouver To Your Home City

My morning teacher gave me this topic for discussion.
The most different two things to compare are the weather and the prices of commodities.
Vancouver has been ranked as one of the most livable cities in the world because of the weather. The climate of Vancouver is pleasant and It doesn’t often snow in the winter in spite of being located at a high latitude. In my home city, Taipei, the summer temperature usually gets up to 30 degrees celsius. And the prices of commodities in Vancouver are dissimilar to Taipei. In Vancouver, I need to pay a high price for eating and living , but the name brand products in Vancouver are cheaper than them in Taiwan. Besides these, Vancouver isn’t crowded and multiracial, exactly the opposite of Taiwan.
And the daytime in Vancouver is so long and the sky usually gets dark at 9 PM in summer. OH, it’s not 8 PM~~It’s time to sleep!!
